"Oasis": AATCC C2C Competition Spring 2025

Oasis is an elevated casual womenswear collection inspired by the raw beauty of desert landscapes and wildlife, created to be both sustainable and waterway-conscious. With an emphasis on areas where water scarcity is a growing concern, Oasis aims to inform buyers of the positive impact native gardens can have on preserving water sources, while simultaneously being constructed using techniques that lessen the damage the apparel industry has caused waterways.

I created this mini collection as a submission to the AATCC C2C Design Competition in 2025. Along with designing versatile capsule-wardrobe inspired garments, I created a conceptual webpage for Oasis along with the interior design of a boutique. Each fabric print design that I created drew inspiration from desert motifs I observed during the first phases of my research and were paired with a desert color palette with pops of color. Overall, the project was a welcome challenge for me, as it required me to conduct thorough research on the textile testing process and even delve into areas of design I had never before considered, such as marketing.
